Here are the answers to all the questions you may have about Coast Storage & Containers.
Is there anything I CAN’T store in your facility?
The only items we do not allow to be stored with us are hazardous materials, gasoline, propane, etc. and food (perishable/edible) items.
Do you insure the contents of my storage unit?
No, CS&C does not provide insurance for the contents. Check with your home insurance provider regarding your stored items.
Who has access to my storage unit?
You, and only you! You place your own lock on the unit, CS&C does not have access to your unit once you place your lock on the door. You keep the key!
Are my belongings safe from moisture?
Yes! Coast Storage & Containers provides units that are have continual air circulation, vents and we can provide air-dri dessicants for non-heated units.
Can you help me move into my storage space?
Yes! CS&C has a cube van available free of charge (excepting a Limited Deductible Payment) for you to use on the Sunshine Coast. We also have moving staff available for large, heavy items.
When can I access my stored items?
You can access your storage space between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, 7 days a week via our secure keypad gate access. We also have a 24 hour emergency call out number posted.
Is there a time limit on how long I store my belongings with you?
No! As long as you need to, you can store with us.
How secure is the container?
CS&C containers are very secure. They are rated wind and water tight to protect your belongings. They are made of heavy gauge steel and our rental containers are fitted with a Lock Box that makes it impossible to tamper with.
Do I need to arrange delivery of the container myself?
NO! CS&C will arrange the delivery at a time convenient to you.
Is there a minimum length of time I have to rent a container for?
One month is the minimum rental period for a mobile container.
Do I need to make any special preparations on site for the mobile container?
That depends! If the site is level, then no, we can place a container flat on the ground or on level blocks at four corners if you choose. If the site is sloped, then a level surface of cinderblocks, wood blocks or another material must be in place for the container to sit flat and level.
What if I need shelves or other modifications to my container?
No problem! Simply discuss your needs with your sales representative. CS&C can provide a number of simple modifications to the container depending on your requirements. You will be given a quote and can go from there.
How do I know that the container I am purchasing is the container I will receive?
CS&C can send you pictures the specific container you will be receiving. You can also come to our local yards to look the container over prior to purchasing.
